This stylish film is an homage to the New Wave films specially Godard. The film about two friends who aspire to literary success works well only partially. The style gets too much in the way of the substance. It's hard to root for the wealthy and good looking protagonists when the director constantly opts for flashy visuals when you need to see the root of the angst and problems.
