A pretentious yarn set in the glamorous world of New York that fails to offer anything new or revealing despite a talented and attractive cast. Glenn Close stars an acclaimed actress who's not happy about her photographer daughter's relationship with a closeted gay lawyer. The film has noble intentions that gets derailed early on and never manages to deeper than the surface.
