The Girl From Paris
French writer and director Christian Carion makes a smashing debut with this beautiful film about a city woman who decides to become a farmer in a remote region of France. He avoids all the cliches you would expect and cuts to the heart of story without wasting much time that enables the actors such as Michel Serrault and Mathilde Seigner shine. Carion hits all the right notes from the begin till the finish besides an effective tale and characters, his spectacular use of stunning location that makes the film a pure delight.
