Ain't Them Bodies Saints

Writer and director David Lowery taps into the Americana myth for this poetic drama. After a man escapes from prison to reunite with his wife and daughter, the past comes to haunt them and the people around them. Lowery aims more for a specific feel and mood that's more impressive than it's original. This nostalgic reminiscence of another era with familiar characters which explores their mythical allure, from the lovers and the people around them to the geography and style of the film that makes Lowery an interesting new filmmaker.
