A film as pretentious as its title. It offers nothing new about dysfunctional families. Everything you have seen and heard in plenty of films in the last decade. It allows Hollywood stars to do some "acting" in a "independent" kind of a film that takes itself too serious. Without the stars the film wouldn't get the attention it receives. Yes, because the whole film industry needs to keep chugging out "anti-terror", "anti-US", "anti-war" films that have about as much to say as a porcupine about the diet of a dog. The whole world already knows what is happening, we have been inaundated by films that yak and yak with nothing to say. The world will actually prefer to watch something else, thanks.
This complaint coming from a guy who studied web design and graphics, that is quite important these days, isn't it?
