Director Phillip Noyce and Harrison Ford reunited for another chapter of the Jack Ryan novels by Tom Clancy. In this film Jack Ryan finds out the president of the US has misused his powers in order to seek a personal revenge against Colombian drug cartels. The film takes a while to get going but pays off well at the end. Willem Dafoe joins Ford as he sets out to rescue abandoned US soldiers in the jungle.
