Canadian director Yves Simoneau brings of the darkest chapters of US history to light with this drama about how the U.S. government policies designed to strip the native Indians of their identity, their dignity and their sacred land. Through three characters that includes Sitting Bull, a young Indian doctor and a US Senator we get an intimate look behind the scenes to events leading to the assassination of Sitting Bull and the massacre of hundreds of Indian men, women and children by the 7th Cavalry at Wounded Knee Creek on Dec. 29, 1890.
