Human Traffic
Welsh writer and director Justin Kerrigan made his feature debut with this slice of life of five young friends. The story set in Cardiff centers on five friends who work dead end jobs and live only for the weekends where they can forget reality with the help of drugs in the clubs. Kerrigan gives a precise angle on certain type of youth that lives the life depicted where the drugs and alcohol seem the only escape. The young cast delivers what the screenplay modestly attempts.
