Dot the i
Writer and director Matthew Parkhill made his feature debut with this stylish romance thriller. A young Spanish woman with a troubled past decides to marry her British boyfriend, only to fall in love with a Brazilian man that complicates their lives. Parkhill takes the love triangle story and spins it on its heads several times with mixed results which thanks to his talented cast, he almost gets away it. Gael GarcĂa Bernal, Natalia Verbeke and James D'Arcy bring credibility to a convoluted story. YRCinema's coverage of films on DVD.
