The Man Who Skied Down Everest
"Challenge makes the man" was a driving motto for Japanese freestyle skier and mountaineer Yuichiro Miura who was the first to ski on Mount Everest and later became the oldest to climb at the ages of 70 and 75. This documentary traces him as he prepares for the climb and historic event when he descended nearly 2,400 m in few minutes in 1970. Stunning footage and intimate revelations by Miura makes this film outstanding which also provides great insight to the world's highest mountain that has challenged many to climb it.
