Madadayo

The last film by Japanese master Akira Kurosawa is an affectionate and intimate one. A beloved professor is cherished by his student because he made an important impression on them and their lives. The same can be said about Kurosawa who managed to enthrall audiences around the world for six decades of films of unparalleled humanity at their core. No other filmmaker comes close to his accomplishments as explored cinema with each decade. Madadayo means "Not yet" in Japanese which shows the master wasn't ready to stop until his last breath.
