Writer and director Edward Zwick returns to romance with this dramedy. A young man with no direction in life finds his calling as a pharmaceutical salesman where he meets and falls in love with young woman that changes his life. What starts as light romantic comedy develops into a drama which shows the inherent problems of the script and film which seems like two films compiled into one. However thanks to the performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway they overcome the major obstacles which saves the film from total disaster.
