A Passage to India
Legendary British master David Lean wrote, directed and edited his final epic which is a worthy swan song. In the final phase of the British ruled India, an idealistic Indian doctor forms a doomed friendship with two visiting British ladies which exposes the disconnection between the rulers and their colony. Based on the novel by E.M. Forster, Lean brings his expertise for his final masterpiece which marked the end of an era. The outstanding cast and crew includes Judy Davis, Peggy Ashcroft, Victor Banerjee and James Fox amongst others. YRCinema's coverage of films on DVD.
