Writer and director Whit Stillman's third film tracks the last days of an era through the eyes of two young women. Two different girls find love and friendship in New York in the early 80's which includes some life lessons that will shape their future. Stillman continues to explore the lives of white young adults through their social interaction with each other. It's his most successful film that captures an era well through vivid and memorable characters.
