Il Divo
Paolo Sorrentino's film takes a scathing look at one of Italy's most notorious politicians. It seems that cinema's the only place where politicians get a trial where they can't influence the case since they are untouchable in the corrupt system. The film is beautifully shot and acted, however asks too much of its non Italian audiences who have no clue of Italian politics of the last three or four decades. YRCinema's coverage of the Cannes Film Festival.
