Pickup on South Street
Samuel Fuller's film-noir classic is a perfect film that still holds up. The story about a petty criminal who pickpockets the wrong purse that includes a micro film to be sold to the Russians which makes the traitors, police and the federal agents chasing him. Fuller wrote and directed this masterpiece set during the Cold War that's just riveting from the beginning till the end. Brilliant writing with superb performances makes this gritty thriller a must-see for all film-noir fans. YRCinema's coverage of films on DVD.
