French writer and director Olivier Marchal assembled a stellar cast for his second feature about two different veteran cops at odds with each other. A series of violent robberies puts two veteran cops and former friends at odds which puts promotes one and jailed the other. Marchal's epic crime thriller reminds of Michael Mann's Heat in many ways, specially the casting of Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Depardieu in the leads but it's an entirely original film in its own right. The equally impressive supporting cast includes André Dussollier, Valeria Golino,Roschdy Zem, Anne Consigny and Mylène Demongeot amongst others.
