The Shape of Things
Writer and director Neil LaBute made a thought provoking film about art and relationships. An unassuming man's drastic transformation by his artist girlfriend has different effects on his friends. Based on his play, LaBute hits the nail with this smart and intelligent film about the power of exterior influences that shapes individuals and the society in various degrees from advertising and fashion to celebrities and entertainment that manifests itself into the psyche of the public on daily basis.
