Diary of a Lost Girl
Austrian director Georg Wilhelm Pabst reunited with his star Louise Brooks for another silent classic. The tragic story of a young woman who's cast out by her family after she becomes pregnant and refuses to marry her rapist which leads her to escape into a life of prostitution. Pabst and Brooks created one of the most iconic female characters in silent cinema which was ahead of its time and hasn't lost any of its allure and enigma. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
