Straight A's

Director James Cox delivered a mess of a film with his third feature. A man with a troubled past returns home to find his former lover married to his brother which makes his return more complicated. Cox and writer David Cole are all over the place with the story which lacks a coherent vision that gets derailed early on. Ryan Phillippe stars along with Anna Paquin and Luke Wilson who are wasted despite their best efforts. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
