Peepli [Live]
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan produced this scathing satire on Indian corrupt politicians. When two poor farmers face to loose their land to the bank, they consider suicide to tap into a government program which gets them into the national spotlight during an election. Writer and director Anusha Rizvi makes her debut with this clever film that shows the intricate and corrupt political system that's easily adapt itself to survive without helping those in need. It's a funny film that tackles a serious issue without the Bollywood formula. YRCinema's coverage of films on DVD.
