Welles is the perfect match for Kafka's vision where he delivers a film that matches the tone and sense of the paranoia of the source material with a stellar cast and crew. Anthony Perkins is perfectly cast as Josef K along with a supporting cast that includes Jeanne Moreau, Romy Schneider, Elsa Martinelli and Welles himself.
