Waking the Dead

Director Keith Gordon delivered a powerful film with this drama that blends romance and drama seamlessly. A young politician is haunted by the memories of his activist lover which could derail his election as well as his sanity. Based on the novel by Scott Spencer and adapted by Robert Dillon, Gordon shows the formative power of love which can leave its mark in this well made drama that has a powerful message at its core. Billy Crudup stars and delivered his best performance along an equally terrific Jennifer Connelly.
