Waltz with Bashir

The cinema of Israel continues to impress with this powerful Animated documentary by Ari Folman. It's also a brave film about the 1980 Sabra and Shantila massacre in Lebanon remembered by some of the soldiers who were involved and are still haunted. Animation continues to prove that it's a great medium least explored and can do wonders beyond live action. This film would have been just a talking heads if it were done traditionally.
