Battle Royale

Veteran Japanese director Kinji Fukasaku delivered his final masterpiece with this groundbreaking controversial film. Set in a dystopian Japan, each year the government selects a class to send on a remote island where they have to fight and kill each other till only one survives. While extremely violent and provocative, Fukasaku and his talented team show human nature by going to the extreme with plenty of humor.
