Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale

Taiwanese writer and director Wei Te-Sheng delivered an uneven film about the resistance of the indigenous tribes against the Japanese occupation. After opening with a bang with a riveting sequence, the film never finds a coherent tone between action adventure or historical drama.
