Blue Caprice

Director Alexandre Moors made his feature debut with this powerful character study about the men behind the 2002 Beltway sniper attacks. An abandoned boy falls under the influence of a dangerous father figure who recruits him to kill several innocent people. Moore and writer R.F.I. Porto took the notorious case to examine the characters journey into the darkness which makes for fascinating film that shows how bad influence and lost innocence make for a deadly combination. Isaiah Washington and Tequan Richmond star in the leads with terrific performances. The supporting cast includes Tim Blake Nelson and Joey Lauren Adams. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
