Since Otar Left...
French writer and director Julie Bertucelli made her feature debut with this compelling and poignant drama. The story about a Georgian family consisting of three generations of women as they deal with a tragedy. Bertucelli's hits all the right notes from the setting to the story and characters. She sheds a light on the immigrant condition from the outside through what they left behind. Bertucelli along with her cast and crew delivers a powerful film with a heart and soul.
