Jim Carrey is back to what he does best in this comedy by director Peyton Reed. A reclusive and lonely middle aged loan officer turns his life around after he attends a self-help seminar where he has to say "YES" to everything for a year. It's a formula driven film around Carrey's talent as a comedian who was at the top of his game with a similar and far superior "Liar, Liar." There are some hilarious moments but also some cringe ones as well. Zooey Deschanel costars and steals the scenes with her freshness that the film otherwise lacks.
