Batman Begins

British director Christopher Nolan took the superhero genre to new cinematic heights with the first film in the epic trilogy. The origin story of billionaire Bruce Wayne and his transformation into the dark knight as he fights crime in Gotham City. Nolan and co-writer David S. Goyer took the comic book and gave it a serious tone and rooted in realism improving the source material.
