Saint Laurent

French writer and director Bertrand Bonello delivers an unauthorized portrait of the French fashion icon. At the height of his career Yves Saint Laurent less interested in the business side of his empire and obsessed with another man much to the dismay of his partner who has to get rid of the distraction in order save the business and their relationship. Bonello who always has a great eye for visuals which suits the subject matter,  however the conflict at the core might not interest everybody except for Saint Laurent fans. Gaspard Ulliel stars along with Jérémie Renier, Léa Seydoux and Louis Garrel amongst others. 1001 Films' coverage of the 67th Festival de Cannes.
