The Seventh Walk
Indian writer and director Amit Dutta returns with another experimental film about the painter Paramjit Singh. A non-linear and abstract film that blends sight and sound to make a visually striking film that's strange and familiar as the same time. More an art installation than a traditional documentary, Dutta uses stunning landscapes and architecture along with natural sounds and hypnotic music as well as the art by Singh who also appears that makes for an interactive artwork between the filmmaker and its subject. 1001 Films' coverage of the 57th San Francisco International Film Festival.
