Belgian writer and director Alex Stockman taps into the terrifying phobia of technology with this thriller. The story about Samuel who works in Brussels as a pharmaceutical delivery man while his girl friend has found a prestigious job in New York. The internet is the only way they can keep their long distance relationship going that also gives Samual sanity and security while suffering from loneliness and dissatisfaction with his life. When Samual's internet is hacked it derails Samual's equilibrium which gets worse as he tries to fight the invisible enemy who's bound to steal his identity and destroy his already strained relationship. Stockman reevaluates the role of technology in daily life as it grows and disconnects people from human interaction. Matthias Schoenaerts stars with a terrific performance. YRCinema's coverage of the AFI Fest.
