Mexican writer and director Alfonso Cuarón delivered his first masterpiece with this unflinching coming of age film that's one of milestones of the Mexican cinema's golden age. Two spoiled teenagers take an older woman on a road trip in order to seduce her, unaware it will be an unforgettable journey that will change their life and friendship forever. Cuarón delivered a vibrant look of contemporary Mexico with this erotic comedy with a subtle social commentary about the class divide between the rich and poor which is an astonishing accomplishment. The ravishing Maribel Verdú stars with a brave performances along with the young Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna who went to become super stars as well as accomplished writers and directors of their own.
