Writer George Nolfi made his feature debut with this romantic Sci-Fi drama. A politician and a dancer fall in love but are separated by a group of mysterious men with supernatural powers. Besides some interesting concepts, there's a great romantic story lost in this messy film where religion meets science fiction. This complicated and ambitious story required the vision of a seasoned director which seems too much of a task for a novice. The always reliable Matt Damon and Emily Blunt bring their talent and charm but can't save the film.
