Acclaimed writer Mark Peploe (The Passenger, The Last Emperor & The Sheltering Sky) made his directing debut with this psychological thriller. A young boy afraid of losing his eye sight has dark visions that plagues his daily routine which puts him in danger. Peploe the writer has some interesting ideas which he fails to execute coherently as a director which is unfortunate. There some terrifying sequences which could have translated into a terrific thriller.
