Orlando

British writer and director Sally Potter turned the classic novel by Virginia Woolf into a dazzling masterpiece. After meeting Queen Elizabeth I, Orlando experiences the full scope of humanity during four centuries, first as a nobleman then as a woman. Brilliantly written and directed by Potter who turned the gender bending novel into a visually stunning film with a terrific and inspired cast. Tilda Swinton stars and delivered an iconic performance that remains one of the highlights of her distinguished career. The supporting cast includes Billy Zane, Quentin Crisp, John Wood and Lothaire Bluteau.
