The Mill & The Cross
Polish writer and director Lech Majewski made a unique film with this visually stunning period film. Flemish painter Pieter Bruegels masterpiece "The Procession to Calvary" from 1564 is brought to live in vivid detail exploring its themes of art, religion, life and death. It's a one of kind of film experience where the world of painting meets cinema with dazzling cinematography, visual effects and production design.
