Belgian director Christophe Van Rompaey made his feature debut with this winning comedy. After an accident, Matty, a mother of three is courted by Johnny, a young truck driver who has fallen in love with her. Initially Matty goes on a date with Johnny to make her teacher husband, Werner jealous because he abandoned her for a younger woman but finds herself at crossroads when she develops feelings for Johnny and Werner wants to return. Van Rompaey and his talented cast and crew deliver an original film with fully developed characters that gives an authentic look at relationships with plenty of heart and humor. Barbara Sarafian and Jurgen Delnaet deliver terrific performances as the unlikely lovers. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
