German director Robert Schwentke returned with another Hollywood formula film, alas from another era. A retired CIA agent and his team get back to action to find out why they are being targeted and killed. Based on a graphic novel, the film is a throw back on films from 60's and 70's that reunited familiar faces that were the attraction than the story itself. Bruce Willis stars along with Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and Brian Cox who all have done better films which justifies their presence in this one. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
