Two English Girls

French writer and director François Truffaut returned with another love triangle based on another novel by Henri-Pierre Roché. A young French man befriends and falls in love with two English sisters that shapes his capability to love. Truffaut always managed to tell his stories effortless which is his greatest asset as director from his first to last film, his characters always seem real which makes the stories credible which also true for this film. Jean-Pierre Léaud stars along with Kika Markham and Stacey Tendeter with terrific performances. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
