Dream House

Irish director Jim Sheridan seems to have lost his way in Hollywood like many before him as this film further proves the fact. After a family moves to their dream house, they fall victim to a mistaken identity which proves devastating for all involved. It's hard to imagine what could have drawn Sheridan to this film because the script is a mess to begin with a mix of various genres that fails to justify any of them. The talented cast that includes Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts that Sheridan attracted can't save the film either as well as the rest of the cast and crew. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
