The Wind Journeys
Colombian writer and director Ciro Guerra delivers a stunning film about an epic journey through his country and culture. The story about a boy who joins an elderly musician on his journey to return his accordion to its rightful owner. On their journey through the country they encounter various characters, myths, legends that allows the boy to become a man and the man to find his destination. Spectacular locations are dazzlingly captured by the promising cinematographer Paulo Andrés Pérez. Music is at the heart of the film throughout with one astonishing accordion battle scene that's one of the many delights of this accomplished film.
