French filmmakers Patrick-Mario Bernard and Pierre Trividic wrote and directed this psychological thriller. Anne-Marie, a middle aged social worker leaves her young lover because she doesn't want a relationship. When he enters a relationship with another woman, it sends Anne-Marie psychologically into a downward spiral. While there's plenty of atmosphere in the film besides the presence of the terrific Dominique Blanc, the film and story falls short ultimately because it tries to stay away from logic which is unfortunate.
