French actress Maïwenn wrote and directed this faux documentary about the lives of actresses. Actress Maïwenn wants to make a musical documentary about the lives of several actresses from the legendary Charlotte Rampling to relative newcomers Estelle Lefébure and several others in between including Jeanne Balibar, Romane Bohringer, Julie Depardieu and Karin Viard amongst others. Maïwenn manages cleverly to capture several hilarious moments before revealing it was all a set-up which fits the tone of the film to blur the lines between fiction and non-fiction. She also uses several clichés about actresses to great effect with help of several known actors and directors which makes the film a delight.
