British writer and director Gareth Edwards made his feature debut with this stunning Sci-Fi thriller. Six years after an alien invasion, a photographer agrees to escort the daughter of his boss from Mexico back to the US through the infected zone at the border. An impressive accomplishment on many levels from concept to execution. Edwards who wrote and directed the utterly original and compelling story, also performed other duties such as cinematography, production design and visual effects which shows great potential for Edwards.
