French actress Géraldine Nakache made her writing and directing debut with this "coming of age" comedy. Ashamed of their humble background in the suburbs, two best friends venture out to the glamorous life in Paris where they find short lived happiness leading them to see beyond the glitter. Nakache stars along with Leïla Bekhti, both in tune with their performances that has a universal appeal. Veterans Virginie Ledoyen and Linh Dan Pham provide support.
