Epic

Director Chris Wedge returns with his third feature which attempts to blends several genres as its generic title suggest. A teenager visiting her scientist father in the forest finds herself caught in a battle between good and evil among the mysterious human like inhabitants. Instead of "Alice in Wonderland," it's Alice in the backyard with an environmental message blended with romance, comedy and action to please everybody. The animation is up to the industry standard without breaking any new ground and a generic name cast providing their voices. 1001 Films' coverage of current releases.
