Bullhead

Belgian writer and director Michael R. Roskam made his feature debut with this riveting drama. After a tragic incident in their childhood, two former friend's path cross again when they are involved in illegal hormone business. Roskam delivers an original film that bursts with energy and anger by which its characters are consumed. The highlight of the film is Matthias Schoenaerts' riveting performance as a man marked by tragedy full of anger and rage that's raw and intense which should make him an international star. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
