A Thousand Times Good Night

Norwegian writer and director Erik Poppe delivers another impressive and profound film with this drama. After a serious injury, a successful war photographer has to choose between her career and her traumatized family. Boppe found the perfect subject matter which is timely as well to explore themes of family, career and choices which makes for a compelling and heartbreaking film. Juliette Binoche stars with another terrific performance along a fine supporting cast that includes Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and youngster Lauryn Canny and U2's Larry Mullen Jr.  1001 Films' coverage of the 67th Festival de Cannes.
